WinAvi is a shareware tool that converts Avi video files to any other type of video format, also from other formats to Avi. It provides multiple options to proceed with the conversion of the files allowing us to create a large quantity of copies/backups in other type of formats. The software file support is great; it supports Real Media, Windows Media, VOB, Mpeg, and it has the option to convert the Avi files in a DVD format.
The performance of the software during the conversion process is good, but in comparison with other software there is an opportunity for the developers to improve it. It is very easy to install and very easy to use. With the advanced configuration in each option one can adjust the properties of the files, select different codecs to set the video quality depending of the format selected.
It you want to proceed with the conversion of any AVI file to other formats WinAvi is one of the best options. You can set options to preview the files and shut down the computer after the conversion process is completed. |
